ACTION, Inc. was founded in 1966 as a private non-private Community Action Agency. The mission of ACTION, Inc. is to empower individuals and families to become more self-sufficient. The goal is to motivate and encourage low-income families to attain skills, knowledge and training opportunities needed by each person to reach and maintain self-sufficiency.
